This creamed corn is simple to make with ingredients you might already have on hand. Make on stovetop or in the crockpot. Perfect with your chicken or turkey dinner.
We have been making this recipe for so long and it is still one of our family favorites. We usually make it for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners because it is so good with your turkey or prime rib. Also fabulous for a weeknight dinner.
Gulliver's Creamed Corn
Servings: 8 servings
- pot or crockpot
- 40 oz frozen corn
- 1 cup milk
- 6 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp` salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- combine all ingredients, except flour and butter, into a pot and bring to a boil; simmer 5 minutes.
- Blend butter and flour; add to corn. Mix well and remove from heat when thickened.
Can also be made in the crockpot. Add ingredients and cook on high until heated through(about 2 hours). Add butter and flour after one hour.
