If you are in need of a delicious dessert that the kids can help with, look no further. Â These summer berry cheesecake trifles are so delicious. Â Made with Philadelphia Cream Cheese, pound cake and summer berries of your choice. Â Top with a patriotic toothpick and you have yourself a fun dessert for your 4th of July party.
Let’s start with some pound cake and fruit. I just purchase a pound cake from the bakery and cut into squares. Â It’s fun to lay them out onto a big platter so guests can put them together.
For the cheesecake layer all you need is Jet-Puffed Marshmallow Creme and Philadelphia Cream cheese. Â Mix together until light and fluffy and you are is business. Start to assemble your trifles by making layers alternating cake, cheesecake mixture and fruit.
I like to use fresh summer berries. Top with a festive topper and enjoy!
