Top 3 Time-Saving Mom Hacks

My top three time-saving hacks to help make your daily routines much easier.

This post is sponsored by Cascade Pure Essentials. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I have been a mother for almost 18-years which means that I have definitely learned a few things by trial and error as well as some time-saving hacks that have saved my sanity and have allowed me for some free time.  I’ll share my top 3 with you today and hopefully they will help you to save yourself some time so you can spend the rest of it doing the things you love with the people that you love.

  1. Make A Weekly Menu:

Not only does this save you time but also will save you money.  We make our menu every Sunday for the week. Since we have five daughters they each choose a day and pick what they want for dinner that night.  Giving everyone a choice throughout the week guarantees that everyone will be happy.

I also have the person who chose the dinner for that week help with the prep and making of the meal.  Doing this has allowed us to have one-on-one time together in the kitchen as well as them learning how to prepare and cool dishes that they love.

2.Plan Out Your Week:

We have a large whiteboard in our mudroom where we write down the schedule for the week.  I do use my phone calendar for the month but having it written down on the board each week helps us all to be on the same page so we know what is happening.  It’s available for everyone in the home to see so we know what needs to be accomplished.

  1. Skip Pre-Rinsing Dishes

You won’t even realize how much time this can save you throughout the week. It not only will save you time, but also a lot of water.  You do need to have a powerful dishwasher detergent.

I have used many dishwasher pods, but Cascade pure essentials ActionPacs have been strong enough to not have to pre-rinse and coming from a food blogger who has a million dishes everyday, this is wonderful.

Cascade has developed new Cascade pure essentials that is free of phosphates and chlorine bleach, the perfume in the formula is also infused with essential oils that offer a light citrus aroma, either Lemon Essence or Orange Blossom. Cascade pure essentials even cleans baked-on food and the simplified formula makes it a product I feel good about using for my family. You can find Cascade pure essentials at Walmart. #PureEssentials

So there you go! Three simple hacks that can help your week be much smoother.  You’ll be surprised how much more time you’ll have when you’re a bit more organized.  Good luck!
