Easy, delicious, comforting breakfast. You can’t go wrong with a classic French Toast.
Our house has a bunch of breakfast lovers and good ‘ol French toast is such a classic and one we never get tired of.
In a small bowl combine cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar. Set aside.
In a 10 or 12-inch skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk together cinnamon mixture, eggs, milk, and vanilla and pour into a shallow container. (I like to use a pie plate). Dip bread in egg mixture. Fry slices until golden brown, flip to cook the other side. Serve with warm syrup and fresh fruit.
