Crush your OREO cookies to make OREO balls! So rich and creamy, you’ll find yourself hanging out by the dessert table for these OREO balls.
OREO cookie balls are so delicious and fun to make. Dip them in your favorite chocolate and you will be in OREO heaven. I dipped them into white chocolate because I was making little snowballs to put on a cake. There were extras leftover to put onto a platter on their own but they are so much fun to decorate a cake with. To get started you need a couple of ingredients, OREO cookies (original chocolate), cream cheese and white chocolate (melted).
In a medium bowl mix together crushed OREO cookies (you will want these finely crushed, use a food processor or blender) and cream cheese together.
Roll into 1-inch cookies balls and line onto a cookie sheet or shallow dish and FREEZE for one hour. I love this baking mat, I have linked ones that are similar here.
While they are freezing I like to start piping out my white chocolate snowflakes. Melt some chocolate in a ziploc baggie and snip of the corner. Create a snowflake shape onto some wax paper and let them freeze. Once the OREO balls are frozen you can dip them into some white chocolate. Sprinkle with blue and white sparkling sugar and refrigerate until nice and solid.
My girls like helping out when we make these, it’s always a fun time to get creative and make something fun and delicious.
Top your OREO cookie ball with a chocolate snowflake and you have yourself a fun snowball treat. Great dessert for your holiday parties or a fun treat to give to neighbors. Put them onto a pretty plate or in a cute bag and you instantly have a delicious treat.
