I cannot believe Summer is almost over.  School is starting tomorrow and I am not sure I am ready for my older girls to go back.  Daughter number three will be attending public school this year after a few years of homeschooling and I’m pretty sad about it.  I am also excited for her because I know this is a fun step in her life being able to attend middle school.  Because school is starting soon we had a little get together at our home with the young women in our neighborhood.  I am a youth leader and it was our activity night and we hosted it at our home.  We had a soda bar with a variety of Torani Syrups, some fun treats and just had a great evening chatting with friends.

We also had a quick thought to share with the girls on going back to school and how important it is to make goals, not give up and to let them know that they have all of these great friends and leaders who love them and are there for them whenever they are in need.  Our soda bar was perfect because we could all totally “cheers” to that!

Now back to our girls night!  One of our favorite drinks of the night was this Raspberry Coconut Cream Float.  It is fruity and creamy and so perfect for a Summer day (or any day for that matter).

Here is how you make it.

Start with 1-2 tablespoons of Torani Raspberry Syrup, then add some Coconut Syrup (you can also use their vanilla if you’re not a fan of coconut and it is just as amazing).

Next, fill up that glass with some ice!

Add your favorite lemon lime soda to it and admire how pretty it looks.

Now for the creamy, delicious part!  Add a scoop (or two, I won’t tell) of your favorite vanilla ice cream. Finish off with a drizzle of Torani White Chocolate Sauce, top with sprinkles and a cherry for good measure and you my friend are ready to enjoy.

Seriously you guys, it is so delicious.  You can find the sauces and syrups at Smith’s, I found my chocolate sauces by all of the other chocolate sauces and powders, the syrups can be found by the specialty drink mixes.  I didn’t get a photo of them because when I went back they were gone (Utah loves our Torani syrups and you have to grab your flavors when you see them).

I love Torani syrups because:

  • Torani flavors are crafted to bring out the best in your drinks, so you can make something your own, in a delicious way.
  • Made with real, simple ingredients like pure cane sugar and natural flavors.
  • One flavor can create endless recipes.

The night was a hit and the girls had so much fun creating their own recipes.  They kept going back for more to try different flavor combinations.  It was a great night with great company and I really hope that these girls continue to be friends througout their lifetime.  They are an amazing bunch of young women and I know that this world will be in good hands because of them.

Instructions
  1. In a tall glass add Torani raspberry syrup and coconut syrup. Top syrup with ice (I like to fill the glass but some people don't like ice so add as much as you would like) top with Sprite and add one scoop of vanilla ice cream to the top of the raspberry coconut drink. Drizzle Torani white chocolate syrup on top and garnish with sprinkles and cherry. Enjoy!
