Who else gets excited when berries are in season and showing up in grocery stores for a great price? I LOVE berries of all sorts. Do you grow berries in your garden? We used to have strawberries but the darn birds would get to them before we could even pick them. So I tore them out and grew carrots in their spot instead. I would like to try to grow them again. Maybe in an area where they could hang and I’ll have to figure out a way to cover them so the birds will leave them alone. So once again, send me your tips if you are a wizard at growing berries. One thing I will share with you (because it shouldn’t be a secret at all), is the recipe for these yogurt cream and berries. It is a simple yet elegant dish that is so extremely delicious. The first time I had it was a few years ago. I had just brought my baby home from the hospital and my friend Mandy brought our family breakfast the next morning. She brought along this yogurt and berry dish and now we have it for brunch several times throughout the year. It is so good. Top with your favorite fruit and granola and your tastebuds will love you.
