Cheesy meatball sliders are the perfect, quick and easy dinner for your busy week and an excellent dish for game day.
Dinner time during the week can sometimes get forgotten about. I mean, I know that the kids want dinner every night and we try our best to make a menu for the week so we have things planned and then things happen like laundry and sick kids and running around to piano lessons and volleyball practice. Life happens and then it is 5PM and we haven’t even thought about dinner yet but need to be fed in less than an hour.
Enter these easy to make meatball sliders. Really, really easy.
Start with a package of slider buns and take off the top and place the bottoms into a baking dish.
Get a package of frozen meatballs and heat them up in the microwave really quick, it takes only a few minutes. After they are cooked add a couple of spoonfuls of your favorite spaghetti sauce to the bun, add a meatball and scoop more sauce on top. To make things even easier, just pour your jar of sauce into your cooked meatballs.
Top with shredded mozzarella.
Place the tops back on and brush with melted butter and top with a little bit of garlic salt, Italian seasoning and parmesan cheese.
Cover with foil and bake in oven for 10 minutes, uncover and bake another 5-10 minutes.
Easy, cheesy and so good. Don’t forget to pin the recipe for later.
