Donuts are always a good idea for game day.
Get your favorite donuts and decorate for your tailgate parties with a homemade buttercream frosting.
My husband is a big time football fan. He is also a loyal football fan to his now Los Angeles Rams. After years and years and years (haha…ok, I’ll stop there). They finally did something good this year and it was a lot of fun getting to see his team actually win some games. Sadly they didn’t make it to the playoffs or anything but it was still a fun season for our family.
Just because he is a big football fan does not mean that our entire family is. I mean he watches his games and we kinda hang out around him and do our own thing. The only reason I know his team did well was because of his cheering. It’s not that I don’t like football, it’s just that I get a little bored watching it unless Bruno Mars is performing at half-time.
One thing I can get behind and excited about is football food. There are so many yummy things you can have on game day. For the Super Bowl it is always fun to make things a little more nice so these donuts are just perfect. I just buy some from my favorite bakery and decorate them with some homemade buttercream to make them look cute.
These are so cute and a fun thing for the kids to help decorate too. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do at your next Super Bowl party.
Don’t forget to pin for later.
