Strawberry limeade perfect for a summer day. Easy to make with only four ingredients. Easily can be doubled for a crowd.
I cannot wait until summer. The weather here in Utah has been pretty blah lately, and everyday I am wishing I were somewhere warm with a fun summer drink in my hand. I figured I might not be somewhere warm and tropical, but I can put a fun drink in my hand. I decided to make a strawberry limeade because the strawberries looked so pretty and delicious when I was at the grocery store.
This is a super simple recipe that anyone can make and it is a favorite in the summer heat.
1 pound of fresh strawberries. After they have been washed and hulled, take two cups of strawberries and place in a blender with 1 can of limeade concentrate, 1/2 cup of sugar and blend until smooth. Add in a two liter of Sprite, transfer to a large punch bowl or pitcher and serve.
I like to chop up another cup or so of strawberries and garnish each glass with a handful of strawberries on top, as well as a lime slice so it feels fancy!
That’s it.
Told ya it was simple.
Be sure to pin the recipe for later.
