Easy to make hot fudge sauce. Perfect for any ice cream creation and ready to eat in just minutes.
I love ice cream. Especially when it is drenched in hot fudge. There is a local ice cream shop that we go to all. of. the. time. Because I cannot go there every day of my life, I have to eat ice cream at home. It is ok though because I have this hot fudge sauce that is oh so delicious! It is even better when you share it.
Valentines’ Day is coming up really quick and this hot fudge sauce on top of a sundae will make any heart swoon. I decided to turn it into a cookie sundae with my soft, chewy chocolate chip cookies. You can get that recipe here. Just layer the sundae with cookies, vanilla bean ice cream, and top with hot fudge.
This hot fudge!
It is so easy to make. In a medium sauce pan mix together cocoa powder and sugar.
Mix over medium heat and stir in cream.
It will start to warm and thicken up.
Once it is warm and thick you will add in the butter, stir mixture and it will get smooth and shiny.
Add in vanilla and pour into your mason jar.
So pretty and it smells divine.
Seriously, it is that easy.
Now, let’s talk Valentine’s Day.
Every year since we got married, my cute hubby makes me breakfast on Valentine’s Day. He decorates the house with different things each year. Sometimes it is balloons, sometimes banners and streamers. Once it was about a trillion handmade hearts. Decorations usually involves something hanging from the ceiling though. He always has a little gift and a Valentine card saying that he loves me, it is seriously the sweetest thing ever. Once we started having babies, he has included them in the Valentine’s Day love breakfast. The girls and I love it and love him. He says he loves it because he is a lucky man and has not just one Valentine, but six. It is a simple gesture, but the all look forward to it. I told Myron that our poor future son-in-laws have a lot to live up to when V-Day comes around…
This year Valentine’s Day came a little early with this Jord watch. It is absolutely beautiful and can go with anything. It’s packaging is a beautiful wood box. I love it because my grandpa was a craftsman and worked with wood, it reminds me of something he would make.
It is so gorgeous.
I love this watch. It really is so pretty and light weight which I love because some watches feel bulky and heavy and I can’t wear them for more than 10 minutes without going nuts. This one is perfect. I also love these watches because they are wood and look beautiful against any skin tone. It isn’t too flashy, but if I want to dress it up, it looks great layered with many different bracelets. If you want to get your sweetheart one for Valentine’s Day (or for any day) you can get it here. You can also check out their website and browse through all of their beautiful watches for men and women.
So make your Valentine’s Day special with a Jord watch and a cookie sundae with this yummy hot fudge. You’ll be the best ever.
I promise.
